ESTUDO DE ACIDENTES DE TRABALHO FLORESTAIS NO ESTADO DE MINAS GERAIS, 2011 - 2017

Resumo
Objetivou-se com esta pesquisa avaliar os dados de acidentes de trabalho, com o intuito de gerar conhecimento referente aos agentes causadores, repercussões e danos na saúde dos trabalhadores de atividades ﬂorestais, bem como acompanhar e avaliar a tendência dos acidentes com os trabalhadores ﬂorestais do Estado de Minas Gerais, no período 2011 – 2017. Tratou-se de um estudo documental onde foram utilizados 329 registros do banco de dados do Ministério da Previdência Social referentes às Comunicações de Acidentes de Trabalho – CATs, e, aos Anuários Estatísticos de Acidentes do Trabalho, com ênfase para o setor ﬂorestal no Estado de Minas Gerais. A análise dos acidentes consistiu da estatística descritiva, do histórico das taxas de morbimortalidade, de estatística não paramétrica (Qui-quadrado) e das séries temporais. Constatou-se que os acidentes oriundos do setor ﬂorestal ocasionam alto grau de consequências e elevadas taxas de morbimortalidade, sendo as atividades consideradas como de alto risco, no qual as lesões foram responsáveis por 93,9% dos registros, com 49,5% ocasionando fraturas. Apesar disso, os acidentes de trabalho de maneira geral têm apresentado uma diminuição ao decorrer dos anos. Concluise assim que as atividades laborais do setor ﬂorestal apresentam níveis de intensidade e complexidade, gerando riscos que causam agravos à saúde dos trabalhadores, diﬁcultando o acesso e continuidade de atuação destes no mercado de trabalho.

Abstract
The aim of this research was to evaluate the data of accidents at work, with the aim of generating knowledge regarding the causative agents, repercussions and damage to the health of workers of forestry activities, as well as to monitor and evaluate the tendency of accidents with forestry workers in the state of Minas Gerais, in the period 2011 2017. It was a documental study, where they were used 329 records from the database of the Ministry of Social Welfare relating to Communications of Work Accidents, and the Statistical Yearbooks of Accidents at Work, with emphasis to the forestry sector. The analysis consisted of descriptive statistics, the history of morbidity rates, non-parametric statistical Chi-square) and of the times series. It was found that the accidents from the forestry sector, cause a high degree of consequences and high rates of morbidity and mortality, being the activities considered as high risk, in which injuries were responsible for 93.9% of records, with 49.5% leading to fractures. Despite this, work accidents in general have shown a decrease over the years. It is concluded that the activities of the forestry sector feature levels of intensity and complexity, generating risks that cause injuries to workers’ health, hindering the access and continuity of operations of the labor market.
