Resumo
Resumo: Proposta: Investigar os fatores associados ao nível de independência funcional de indivíduos com DRC em hemodiálise. Métodos: Em um estudo transversal, indivíduos em hemodiálise foram avaliados quanto força muscular respiratória, força de membros inferiores, Short Physical Performance Battery- SPPB, Glittre ADL test, Perfil de Atividade Humana e Participação Social. Análise estatística: Teste de correlação linear de Pearson; estatística Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin; análise fatorial com rotação da matriz de correlação (orthogonalrotation - varimax); teste de Kaiser- Meyer-Olkin(KMO); análise univariada, análise de regressão linear múltipla realizados conforme apropriado. Resultados: Noventa e um indivíduos compuseram a amostra (58,2% homens) com idade de 52,4 anos (DP=48,9-55,8). Após avaliação a média dos valores de PImáx e PEmáx indicaram fraqueza muscular respiratória (PImáx: 73,7cmH2O, DP= 66,9- 80,7cmH2O e PEmáx: 96,4cmH2O, DP: 87,4- 105,4cmH2O), vinte e nove indivíduos (33%) apresentou baixo desempenho funcional (SPPB≤8) com tempo médio de execução do Glittre test de 289,6 segundos (DP=136,1, amplitude mínima=132; amplitude máxima=762). Sessenta e dois por cento (n= 56) apresentaram-se inativos (PAH< 53) e restrições de participação social (PS< 12). Um fator resumiu o componente “Independência Funcional” pela análise fatorial (KMO: 0,76; Teste esfericidade de Bartlett p<0,01). O screeplot apresentou tendência a estabilidade de autovalores após o primeiro ponto, reforçando o modelo de 69,2% da variância explicada. Na análise de regressão múltipla constatou-se associação das variáveis: idade, sexo, TSL 10 e participação social com a variável de interesse. Conclusão: Os resultados apresentados sugerem que idade, sexo, força de membros inferiores e participação social influenciam o perfil de funcionalidade de indivíduos com DRC dialítica.

Abstract: Purpose: To investigate the factors associated with the level of functional independence with RDC in hemodialysis. Methods: In a cross-sectional study, wants in hemodialysis were obtained regarding respiratory muscle strength, lower limb strength, Short Physical Performance Battery- SPPB, Glittre ADL test, Human Activity Profile and Social Participation. Statistical analysis: Pearson linear correlation test; Kaiser- Meyer-Olkin statistic; factor analysis with correlation matrix rotation (orthogonal rotation - varimax); Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) test; univariate analysis, multiple linear regression analysis performed as appropriate. Results: Ninety-one comprised the sample (58.2% of men) aged 52.4 years (SD = 48.9-55.8). After evaluation of respiratory muscle weakness (PImax: 73.7cmH2O, SD = 66.9-80.7cmH2O and PEmax: 96.4cmH2O, SD: 87.4-105.4cmH2O), twenty-nine individuals (33%) had low functional performance (SPPB≤8) with a mean Glittre test execution time of 289.6 seconds (SD=136.1, minimum amplitude=132; maximum amplitude=762). Sixty-two percent (n=56) were inactive (PAH<53) and social participation restrictions (PS<12). One factor summarized the “Functional Independence” component by factor analysis (KMO: 0.76; Bartlett's sphericity test p <0.01). The script showed a tendency to stability of eigenvalues after the first point, reinforcing the 69.2% model of explained variance. In the multiple regression analysis, an association was found between the variables: age, gender, TSL 10 and social participation with the variable of interest. Conclusion: The results presented suggest that age, gender, lower limb strength and social participation influence the functionality profile of individuals with dialysis CKD.
