Dissertação/Tese VALIDAÇÃO DA VERSÃO EM PORTUGUÊS DO QUESTIONÁRIO ANIMADO DE ATIVIDADE -AAQ - PPGREAB

O Animated Activity Questionnaire (AAQ) é um questionário virtual, com vídeos de 17 atividades, em diferentes níveis de dificuldades, desenvolvido na Holanda, para avaliar as limitações nas atividades de indivíduos com Osteoartrite (OA) de joelho e/ou quadril. Objetivo: Avaliar a validade de construto e a reprodutibilidade da versão em português do AAQ, em indivíduos com OA de joelho ou quadril. Métodos: Indivíduos com 45anos ou mais, com OA de joelho e/ou quadril, capazes de deambular com ou sem dispositivo auxiliar para marcha e excluídos indivíduos com déficit visual, auditivo ou cognitivo foram incluídos. Após a aprovação pelo CEP, os indivíduos responderam a um questionário contendo dados sociodemográficos, ao WOMAC e AAQ e para avaliação da capacidade funcional o Timed Up & Go (TUG) e o Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB). Para validação do AAQ, foi calculado o coeficiente de correlação de Spearman entre o escore obtido no AAQ no WOMAC e nos testes funcionais. A validade transcultural foi avaliada usando análise de regressão logística ordinal para avaliar o Funcionamento Diferencial dos Itens (DIF) entre os idiomas holandês e português. Resultados: Participaram do estudo 200 indivíduos. O escore total do AAQ apresentou uma correlação negativa e significativa com os três domínios do WOMAC: dor (0,50, p<0,001); rigidez (0,45, p<0,003); capacidade funcional (0,77;p<0,001). E com os testes funcionais: TUG (0,77, p<0,001) e SPPB (0,64; p<0,001). Comparando com a versão em holandês, o AAQ mostrou DIF em dois itens, no entanto, não impactou a pontuação total do AAQ. Conclusão: Com isso a versão em português do AAQ parece ser um instrumento válido para avaliar limitação na atividade em indivíduos com OA de joelho e/ou quadril.

The Animated Activity Questionnaire (AAQ) is a virtual questionnaire with videos of 17 activities, at different levels of change, developed in the Netherlands, to be assessed as limited in knee osteoarthritis (OA) isolation activities and / or hip. Objective: To assess the build quality and reproducibility of the English version of AAQ. Methods: Individuals aged 45 years or older, with knee and / or hip OA, able to walk with or without walking aids and excluded individuals with visual, hearing or cognitive impairment were included. After approval by the CEP, the individuals answered a questionnaire containing sociodemographic data, the WOMAC and AAQ and for functional capacity assessment the Timed Up & Go (TUG) and the Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB). To validate the AAQ, the Spearman correlation coefficient was calculated between the WOMAC AAQ score and the functional tests. Cross-cultural validity was assessed using ordinal logistic regression analysis to assess Differential Item Functioning (DIF) between the Dutch and Portuguese languages. Results: 200 individuals participated in the study. The total AAQ score showed a negative and significant correlation with the three WOMAC domains: pain (0.50, p <0.001); rigidity (0.45, p <0.003); functional capacity (0.77; p <0.001). And with the functional tests: TUG (0.77, p <0.001) and SPPB (0.64; p <0.001). Compared to the Dutch version, AAQ showed DIF on two items, however, did not impact the total AAQ score. Conclusion: The Portuguese version of AAQ seems to be a valid instrument to evaluate activity limitation in individuals with knee and / or hip OA.
