Dissertação/Tese UTILIZAÇÃO DO SISTEMA DE NOTIFICAÇÃO EM VIGILÂNCIA SANITÁRIA (NOTIVISA) NOS MUNICÍPIOS DA GERÊNCIA REGIONAL DE SAÚDE DE JANUÁRIA, MINAS GERAIS - PPGSaSA

A Tecnovigilância de produtos para a saúde é essencial para monitorar e controlar os riscos relacionados aos produtos após sua disponibilização no mercado. Este estudo teve como propósito avaliar o uso do Sistema de Notificação para Vigilância Sanitária (Notivisa), desenvolvido pela Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa), por profissionais da saúde que utilizam o sistema para registrar eventos adversos e queixas técnicas sobre produtos para a saúde. Para avaliar a utilização do sistema Notivisa na região da Gerência Regional de Saúde de Januária, MG, a pesquisa adotou uma abordagem exploratória-descritiva. Inicialmente, foi identificado os municípios da região que possuíam serviços de saúde cadastrados no sistema Notivisa, seguido de uma análise retrospectiva das notificações de eventos adversos e queixas técnicas de 2006 a 2020. Os dados foram coletados tanto diretamente do sistema Notivisa quanto por meio de questionários semi-estruturados aplicados aos profissionais de saúde, com o objetivo de investigar o conhecimento e a utilização do sistema, além de identificar as principais barreiras e facilitadores. A análise retrospectiva das notificações de 2006 a 2020 indicou uma subutilização significativa do sistema por parte dos profissionais de saúde entrevistados, sugerindo uma lacuna na eficácia da vigilância sanitária desses produtos. Os resultados da pesquisa revelaram uma subutilização significativa do sistema Notivisa pelos profissionais de saúde, evidenciando uma lacuna na adoção efetiva da vigilância sanitária de produtos para a saúde. Foi observada uma diversidade de percepções entre os profissionais em relação ao uso do Notivisa, destacando-se desafios relacionados à usabilidade do sistema e à necessidade de habilidades específicas para sua utilização efetiva. Diante deste cenário, propõe-se a simplificação dos procedimentos, alocação de recursos adicionais e implementação de treinamentos regulares para fortalecer a vigilância sanitária de produtos para a saúde. Essas ações visam otimizar a utilização do Notivisa, promovendo uma melhor vigilância e monitoramento desses produtos, contribuindo, assim, para a eficácia do sistema de saúde em âmbito nacional.

Technovigilance of health products is essential to monitor and control the risks related to these products after they are made available on the market. This study aimed to evaluate the use of the Health Surveillance Notification System (Notivisa), developed by the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa), by health professionals who use the system to record adverse events and technical complaints about health products. To assess the use of the Notivisa system in the region of the Regional Health Management of Januária, MG, the research adopted an exploratory-descriptive approach. Initially, the municipalities in the region that had health services registered in the Notivisa system were identified, followed by a retrospective analysis of notifications of adverse events and technical complaints from 2006 to 2020. Data were collected both directly from the Notivisa system and through semi-structured questionnaires applied to health professionals, aiming to investigate the knowledge and use of the system, as well as to identify the main barriers and facilitators. The retrospective analysis of notifications from 2006 to 2020 indicated significant underutilization of the system by the interviewed health professionals, suggesting a gap in the effectiveness of health surveillance of these products. The research results revealed significant underutilization of the Notivisa system by health professionals, highlighting a gap in the effective adoption of health product surveillance. A diversity of perceptions among the professionals regarding the use of Notivisa was observed, emphasizing challenges related to the system's usability and the need for specific skills for its effective use. In this scenario, it is proposed to simplify procedures, allocate additional resources, and implement regular training to strengthen the health surveillance of health products. These actions aim to optimize the use of Notivisa, promoting better surveillance and monitoring of these products, thereby contributing to the effectiveness of the health system at a national level.
